Florida · Companies trading with Latin America

A distributor,
not a contact list.

Anyone can send you twenty company names from a directory. Knowing which three actually pay on time, hold stock and answer the phone in February takes work that a list does not represent.

How we work

A Florida company, and not your customs broker

Oya LATAM LLC is a limited liability company registered in the State of Florida, document number L23000179223, filed in 2023, with registration details on public record with the Florida Division of Corporations.

We do research, introductions, language and coordination. We are not a licensed customs broker, not an FMC-licensed freight forwarder, and not a law firm — customs entries, freight contracts and legal opinions go to licensed providers we help you engage. Compliance with US export controls, OFAC sanctions and the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act stays with you, and we do not make or facilitate improper payments to anyone.

Frequently asked

The questions we get most

Can you file our customs entry?

No. That requires a licensed customs broker. We build the document checklist, chase the paperwork and work alongside your broker, who files.

Do you charge commission on sales?

Fees are agreed in writing before work starts, and we will set out clearly whether that is a fee, a commission, or both. Nothing is deducted from a shipment without your agreement.

Which countries do you cover?

Across Latin America, in Spanish and Portuguese. On the first call we will tell you honestly where we would be starting from research rather than relationships.

What if the market is not worth entering?

Then we say so in the written findings. A market assessment that always recommends entry is not an assessment.

Who handles sanctions and export controls?

You do, as the exporter — it is your legal obligation. We will flag what we notice, and we will not proceed with anything that looks like a restricted party or destination.

Can you help with visas or company formation abroad?

No. That is legal and immigration work, and we will refer you to qualified counsel in the relevant country.
